On the Needles

It's been a busy couple of weeks here at Maxies Knitwear. I've been playing around with new patterns designs and ideas - knitting, counting stitches, unwinding and re-knitting until the pattern looks the way I imagined it. It's a lot of fun trying to create new designs, and once I've worked out the detail and ensured the look is 'just right', I'll give you a sneak preview!

But in the meantime, I thought I'd show you just a couple of the projects currently on the needles. One is a scarf and the other is a double-length cowl. The cowl is almost completed and will be listed in our shop soon, but the scarf may take a while longer due to the detail. Feel free to leave a comment letting me know what you think.

  1. Love those colors in the double cowl. Very pretty and feminine.

  2. Wow, They both already look beautiful. I tried knitting once, but could never get past just a plain knit stitch. -Debbie

  4. Thanks for following my blog. My god daughter spent a semester in Victoria and would do almost anything to come back I believe! Although I paint, I have a passion for color and knit too. I have several friends with sheep and spinning wheels. I just knit and let them do the spinning. One makes hats for the homeless in our area as well as helmet liners. I will share your site with her. She will love it!
    Blessings, Colleen
